After the Year 2001 Honda Dealer Show attendees were teased with an audio track from a four-stroke motocross bike that we were told we would be "seeing shortly," we have been waiting patiently.

Over the weekend at the final round of the Japanese National Championship MX Series, the bike made its debut, piloted by Sebastian Tortelli...

With Sebastian at the helm, the bike won the overal in the 250cc class in convincing fashion.

In current condition the bike is rumored to displace over 400cc and be just upwards of 80-percent complete. It is expected to begin competing in AMA competition in the middle of the 2001 season.

Our buddies over at that weekly newspaper, Cycle News, have some photos and a little ditty on the bike right here. So take a look at the photos and let us -- and Honda -- know what you think of their upcomming entry into the four-stroke motocross market which has recently been dominated by Yamaha's YZ426F.
