Metzeler - Pinstripe Shoes for your Fat Boy

By Sean Alexander, Aug. 19, 2004
*PRESS RELEASE* METZELERS ENTIRE NARROW-STRIPE AND WIDE WHITEWALL LINE FOR AMERICAN AND METRIC V-TWINS IS NOW AVAILABLE

(Rome, GA) ~ Metzelers current range of whitewall tires for both American and metric V-twins is now available throughout North America. This includes eight different front and rear sizes, in both narrow white stripe and wide whitewalls, all in Metzelers immensely-popular ME880 line.

The new narrow white stripe ME880s, just introduced this spring, come in a 130/90-16 front and 140/90-16 rear. The six sizes of wide whitewalls are: two fronts in 130/90-16 and 150/80-16; and four rears in 170/80-15, 130/90-16, 140/90-16, and 150/80-16.

The new narrow-stripe additions, like their wide-whitewall siblings, feature Metzelers rugged bias-belted construction, one of the three constructions that Metzelers ME880 V-Twin range is available in (bias, bias-belted, and radial) to suit all of the V-Twin load ranges and applications for everything from OE replacement to all-out custom bikes.
Metzelers expanded ME880 whitewall range now fits a variety of Harley-Davidson®, Metric, and custom V-twin bikes as both OE-replacement and Metzeler Stage One upgrades. (Stage One refers to oversize tires that can be safely mounted on the OE wheels with no other modifications necessary.)

Suggested retail prices range from $169.95 to $193.95 for fronts, $199.95 to $229.95 for rears.
