MDA and the 100th

Milwaukee, WI - The Muscular Dystrophy Association's (MDA) top fundraisers will lead the way for an estimated 10,000 Harley-Davidson motorcycles on Saturday, August 30, 2003 to celebrate the Motor Company's 100th Anniversary in Milwaukee. The parade will begin rolling at approximately 9:00 AM CST from the Milwaukee County Zoo and proceed east to the Summerfest grounds located on the Lake Michigan shore.


The MDA Parade of Heroes leads the 100th Anniversary Parade through the streets of Milwaukee, identifying the fundraisers who raised a minimum of $5,300 (equivalent to100 minutes of MDA-funded research). The 100th Anniversary Parade features representatives from Harley-Davidson dealerships, Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) members in the H.O.G. Chapter Parade of Flags, Harley-Davidson employees and thousands of randomly selected Harley-Davidson enthusiasts who purchased Celebration tickets.

Watching the Parade is free and open to the public. You do not need a ticket or credential to view the tribute to the Harley-Davidson family of riders, enthusiasts, employees, dealers and many others who have helped the Company make this milestone a reality.
