Why Don't Motorcycle Journals Present Hard Data?

Since I was a little kid I was always fascinated by the detailed performance data presented by car magazines such as Car and Driver, or Road and Track. They always give detailed braking and acceleration (incudling lateral) perfomance on all the cars they review. Why don't motorcycle publications do the same?

Instead we have to read paragraph after paragraph of subjective descriptions with no supporting data. I like good writing as well as the next guy, but I am reading motorcycle writeups to get an idea of what the bike is capable of, for example, exactly how much more can an R1 do than an R6? So what's the deal? Can MO answer this question? Does anyone besides me want to see this information?
