Malcolm Smith to race Pikes Peak
Off-road legend enters Race to the Clouds Off-road racing legend Malcolm Smith will race in the 2010 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.

The AMA Hall of Famer and star of the film On Any Sunday will enter the June 27 hill climb near Colorado Springs, Colo. Smith has competed in the Race to the Clouds before, winning the Colorado Celebrity 500 Motorcycle Run at the 1981 Pikes Peak Hill Climb.
This time, he will be joined by his son Alexander who is competing in the 1250cc motorcycle division on the Ducati Multistrada 1200.
I just got bored helping out on Pikes Peak, so I decided to enter this year and bring along my bike, says Smith. Alexander and I got up at 4:00 a.m. last week and drove to Las Vegas to test our motorcycles, and we both did well, so Im excited about coming to Colorado Springs again.
