Nicky Hayden will be the next in the line of MotoGP racers to ride a parade lap of the Isle of Man TT’s Mountain Course.

The Ducati Marlboro rider will join TT veteran Ian Hutchinson and five-time 500cc Grand Prix World Champion Mick Doohan in the Arai Parade lap June 8 as part of the 2011 Isle of Man TT celebrations.

“I’m really looking forward to going to the Isle of Man. I’ve been to pretty much every kind of motorcycle race you can imagine – the Daytona 200, the Jerez MotoGP, the Anaheim Supercross, the Namur World Motocross – but I’ve never been to the Isle of Man or any other real street race,” says Hayden. “I’m a huge fan of motorcycle racing of any kind, and I feel like this one is definitely something I’m missing. People have always told me, ‘You need to go to the TT,’ and now I’m finally going to get my chance.”

Hayden’s teammate with Ducati, Valentino Rossi rode a parade lap at the 2009 Isle of Man TT while Loris Capirossi got the chance to ride the Mountain Course at last years’ event.
