Go All-in to Win a Chopper

The winner of a Texas Hold-em poker tournament at the Horseshoe Riverboat Casino in Hammond, Indiana will recive a casino-themed custom motorcycle from Derby City Customs.

The chopper, with real poker chips and cards embedded in the body and an alligator seat with a gold-accented horseshoe cut into it, was designed by Louisville, Kentucky brothers Jeremy and Jason Cantwell, owners of Derby City Customs.

The casino wanted a custom bike on display for the Hold-em tournament, says Jeremy Cantwell. Three thousand poker players will compete over the course of ten nights this September to win our bike. Pros from the World Series of Poker are expected to play.

The choppers tank and rear fender are molded into one smooth continuous surface.

We set up the front end with an inverted fork which has wheels from RC Components, says Cantwell. There is also a lot of chrome on its six-speed transmission.

The Cantwell brothers build several custom choppers and sportbikes each year. They also designed a custom 2008 Suzuki GSX1400R Hayabusa for K&N Engineerings booth at the 2007 Specialty Equipment Marketing Association show in Las Vegas.

This bike has a 113 S&S engine, which is a lot of motor for a custom chopper, says Cantwell. K&N Engineering makes all our filters for our custom bikes. A bike of this caliber deserves only the best and when we think of filters we only think of K&N.

Cantwell says he hopes to design another bike for the K&N booth at the 2008 SEMA show.
