Fastrack Riders is hosting a day at the track at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway April 26.

Novice Rider School spots have been sold out, but openings are available at each level for the track day on the 1.8-mile Classic Course.

Fastrack Riders has also reached an agreement with their insurance company to allow riders under the age of 18 to participate at its events.

Twelve and thirteen year olds may ride 125cc bikes, 14 and 15 year olds can ride 250cc bikes and those who are 16 and older may ride bikes larger than 600cc.

Also at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend, riders will be able to use the AMB timing system. Fastrack Riders began testing the AMB system last June, and it is now ready for use. Transponders and their brackets will be mounted by Velcro in a protected location to prevent risk of damage. As well, transponders will be easier to mount and remove while also preventing the risk of scratching the bikes.

Riders can pre-register for Saturdays track event at http://www.fastrackriders.com/ for US$199. The deadline for preregistering is Thursday at noon PDT, after which fees will rise to $249.
