Honda revealed a new scooter concept model at the 2010 EICMA show in Milan, Italy.

Like other recent concepts and models Honda has introduced, the New Mid Concept is a combination of motorcycle styles. According to Honda, the New Mid Concept combines the spirit of a sports motorcycle and the comfort of a scooter.

Honda hasnt released any engine details but did announce the New Mid Concept is equipped with the dual clutch transmission introduced with the VFR1200F and also found on the Crosstourer concept, also introduced at EICMA.

Could the New Mid be a future Silver Wing?

The New Mid Concept offers a foot-forward riding position with a high wind screen. The newly designed 17-inch wheels will help improve high speed stability, as should the PRO-LINK rear suspension.

The Honda New Mid Concept is equipped with dual clutch transmission instead of the usual CVT fare found on most scooters.
