By Motorcycle.Com Staff, Oct. 26, 2009
KTM says it will open a new motocross generation at EICMA 2009 in Milan, Italy.

The Austrian manufacturer will unveil a completely new model Nov. 10 at the Milan show, calling it a significant step toward defining new lines.

KTM also says the new motocross generation centers on its factory motocross race director Stefan Everts. Under the 10-time World Champions guiding hand, KTM had a successful motocross season in 2009. Marvin Musquin won the MX2 World Championship while Max Nagel finished second in the MX1 championship. Steffi Laier earned another title for KTM, winning the Motocross World Championship.

KTM's new motocross bike will debut at EICMA 2009.

KTM isnt dropping many hints about what new lines are being discussed or what makes the new bike part of the new motocross generation, but rumor has the recently signed Mike Alessi developing a new 350 four-stroke for the 2010 AMA Motocross season. The company did release an artistic rendering of the machine.

Motorcycle.com will have more about KTMs new MX bike and other new models at EICMA 2009, Nov. 10-15 in Milan.
