Ducati - The Story Now on DVD

Documentary follows companys history
By Motorcycle.Com Staff, Dec. 08, 2010
Ducati North America has announced the release of a documentary on the Italian brands history.

Available on DVD for the first time in North America, Ducati The Story explores companys origins in 1926 through to Casey Stoners 2007 MotoGP World championship.

This is a new way to tell the story, says Livio Lodi, curator of the Ducati Museum. As if leafing through an old photo album or speaking with a wise old relative, the story gives a fascinating view not only of Ducati, but also of Italys history. For me, it is vitally important that we share this story with Ducati fans all over the world.

The film features rare footage and photography from the companys history. Highlights include Paul Smarts victory at the 1972 Imola 200 on the Ducati 750 which sparked Ducatis successful Superbike program, Superbike racing footage and Ducatis MotoGP debut in 2003.

Ducati The Story is available now at authorized Ducati dealerships for $39.90.
