Buell to Speak at Breakfast for Daytona
The founder of the Buell Motorcycle Company and Erik Buell Racing will speak at the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame and Museum fundraiser March 11, the Friday of Bike Week at the Daytona 500 Club in the Daytona International Speedway infield.
“Erik Buell is a Hall of Famer not only for his innovative and dogged pursuit of motorcycling excellence, but also because the bikes he built were evocative and impressive enough to earn one of the most passionate fan bases in all of motorcycling,” says Jeff Heininger, chairman of the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation which raise funds for the Hall of Fame.
Buell, a member of the 2002 Hall of Fame induction class, has been hard at work at his newest venture, teasing an upcoming surprise announcement, perhaps the anticipated street legal version of the EBR1190RR.
“For me, motorcycling has always been about the journey, about the people, about the ideas behind the machines, and it will be great to connect with enthusiasts at the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Breakfast at Daytona fundraiser,” says Buell. “And who knows? I may have a surprise or two to announce by then.”
Tickets for the Breakfast for Daytona are available for $75. The event will also include ea silent auction and an autograph session with Buell and other Hall of Fame members. Proceeds from the event will support the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in Pickerington, Ohio.
