Brammo Inc. has been awfully busy recently. About a week after announcing a manufacturing partnership with Flextronics, Brammo has secured $12.4 million through private investments. Brammo is hoping to raise a total of $30 million.

Investors include existing partners like Chrysalix and Best Buy Venture, as well a new contributor Alpine Inc., an oil and gas investment firm.

With more capital on hand and a new manufacturing partner, Brammo is looking to expand globally as it develops new product. Brammo is already working on the new Empulse, an electric motorcycle that Brammo says will deliver more than 100 miles of range with a top speed over 100 mph.
