Boss Hosses' New V-8-powered Bike

By Motorcycle.Com Staff, Sep. 26, 2007
Whatever your opinion of Boss Hoss motorcycles, their presence is undeniable and they appear to be here to stay. As proof of such, they just announced the release of new model available now. The strangely-named BHC-3 LS2 sounds more like a NASA project, but the claimed 425 horsepower is undeniably Boss Hoss! Just think of the crazy bar-bending speeds you could attain with 425 hp and 425 ft-lbs of torque! Motorcycle.com can't wait to get in the saddle of this GM-powered V8 blacked-out demon to see what she'll do. How 'bout you? If you're interested in this Boss, you can start test riding it the last weekend in September at the Boss Hoss National Rally in Dyersburg, TN.

From Boss Hoss:

It is both a beauty and a beast, it rumbles and it purrs, and it is definitely impressive and even a little bit intimidating. Its the 425 horsepower, Boss Hoss BHC-3 LS2the newest addition to Boss Hoss Cycles incredible line of V8 powered bikes and trikes, available September 1st, 2007.

Boss Hoss Cycles, manufacturer of Americas ultimate V8 powered cycles, proudly announces their newest super-powered model: the BHC-3 LS2. The motorcycle features an all-aluminum, third generation General Motors V8 LS2 small block with multi-port fuel injection engine for the highest performance. This LS2 brags 425 hp and 425 lb-ft. of torque!

The BHC-3 LS2 is 364 cubic inches, and has a low seat height and short wheelbase, much like the Super Sport model, which made its debut in the 2007 production lineup. This new LS2 model will replace the big block 502 hp that will no longer be produced due to 2008 emissions regulations. It is 235 lbs lighter than the big block, and is 6.0 liters instead of the big blocks 8.2 liters. These credentials are what make this LS2 model King of the Hill in the all important horsepower-to-weight ratio category.

The new LS2 model is the best overall motorcycle that we have ever built, says Rad Hunsley, COO of Boss Hoss. The lower center of gravity and incredible power-to-weight ratio provide a performance and feel unmatched by any other production motorcycle Ive ever ridden! We may have just produced the perfect motorcycle.

Boss Hoss unveiled the new model at the Sturgis Bike Rally in August, 2007. To show appreciation for loyal Boss Hoss fans, the LS2 will not be available for demo rides until the Boss Hoss National Rally September 27-29, 2007 in Dyersburg, TN. Boss Hoss invites all attendees to try one of these ultimate cycles, and coast the roads in the new BHC-3 LS2 and 2008 models.
