AMA Flat Track schedule revised
Two events removed, another to be added
The GNC Twins Half-mile, originally scheduled for June 7 at the Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tenn. and the GNC Singles TT and short track doubleheader at Castle Rock Race Park in Castle Rock, Wash. set for Aug. 8-9, have both been taken off of the 2008 schedule.
“We’re naturally disappointed to have to cancel these two rounds because we worked very hard to bring AMA Flat Track Championship racing to our fans in Tennessee and Washington,” says Ken Saillant, Flat Track director. “Fortunately for folks living in Tennessee we have our upcoming GNC Twins half-mile round at Mountain Raceway Park in Maryville on June 21, and we plan to make an announcement very soon about a new round we are adding on Saturday, Aug. 23.”
