The AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum is auctioning a 1953 Vincent Black Shadow.

Bidding on the restored bike opened on eBay Jan. 23 and will run through Feb. 2.

Restored by Mike White of Ontario, Canada and Brent Mayfield of Centerville, Ohio, the Vincent Black Shadow was originally purchased by the Museum for its 2008 raffle. The raffle winner opted for an alternate cash prize instead of the motorcycle, allowing the Museum to auction the bike. Proceeds from the auction will support the Museum.

The 1953 Vincent Black Shadow is powered by a 998cc overhead valve dry sump V-Twin.Tickets for the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum’s 2009 raffle are now open with a choice of two Bonnevilles available as the top prize. The raffle winner, to be picked at the 2009 AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, will be able to choose between a fully restored 1959 pre-unit T120 Bonneville, a limited edition 2009 50th Anniversary T100 Bonneville or a $25,000 cash award.
