Way back in 1957, after the legendary road races of Pebble Beach outgrew local streets, businesses and residents of Monterey County pooled their money together to build a new racetrack. Today, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca is a stunning facility that offers a variety of world-class events for racing fans of any segment. Since the first race at the facility in November 1957, race fans and their families from all corners have come to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. This July, the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship comes to Monterey County, and it’s your only chance to see these incredible machines in the United States this year.

WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca should offer some of the best entertainment your family can enjoy this summer vacation. This iconic raceway makes it a must-see venue. Organizers know that race fans come in all ages, so there are lots of fun activities for everyone in the family. Take in the Paddock Show, or immerse yourself in whatever racing style you love with engaging fan experiences. There could be countless family memories made at your next WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca visit.

Superbike fans will not want to miss the World Superbike racing from July 12-14. These elite racers only come to the US once a year and only to the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. This should be one of the pinnacle experiences for Superbike fans, and it’s one you’ll want to experience in person. Fans will have up-close and personal access to current models from five different manufacturers; Ducati, Suzuki, Yamaha, BMW, and Kawasaki. More than just seeing these incredible bikes in person, fans will be able to sign up for free demo rides. Best of all, you can enter to win a behind-the-scenes experience thanks to Tissot. The Tissot VIP Experience is an enter-to-win program with tiers of prizes ranging from a new Tissot watch to event tickets.

For the ultimate viewing experience, upgrade your tickets to access Flagroom Hospitality building on the edge of the paddock. There are stunning views of the race overlooking Turn 3. Consider being part of the action and sign up as a track marshal. You could secure yourself the best seats in the house, trackside, as well as lunches and transportation for $70 a day. Be sure to check out the USARM website to apply. The World Superbike races on July 12-14 should be the event of the summer for Superbike fans and families; be sure to grab your tickets before the racing begins. Only WeatherTech Raceway Laguna offers this kind of fan access at events.

There will be lots of destinations and events to visit during this summer break. Make an event at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca one of them. While World Superbike racing is one of the highlights, there are events for racing fans of all stripes from vintage racing during the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion to prototypes and GT cars at the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship to the Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey for the IndyCar season finale. There’s something for everybody and fun for all ages at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

I'll just call it 'Laguna Seca' or even 'Laguna' while I'm there rather than 'WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca', too much of a mouth full.
