Indian Motorcycle has announced its 2020 Scout lineup, including an array of new touring accessories and two special edition models celebrating 100 years of the Scout’s debut in 1920. Confirming our report from last week, the two models are the Indian Scout 100th Anniversary and the Indian Scout Bobber Twenty.

“The Indian Scout has stood the test of time as one of the most influential, iconic and recognizable motorcycles in the world,” said Reid Wilson, Vice President for Indian Motorcycle. “100 years is an incredibly special milestone, and it made perfect sense to honor Scout’s history and legacy with these two heritage-inspired 2020 models.”

In addition to the touring accessories, Indian is also offering a new stage 1 shorty slip-on muffler kit and a 2-into-1 full exhaust system

For 2020, all Scouts (including the Bobber and the Scout Sixty) will receive brake calipers, master cylinders and floating rotors. All 2020 Scout Bobber models will also now come with Pirelli MT60RS tires while the regular 2020 Scout gets a new sport seat and passenger pegs.

2020 Indian Scout 100th Anniversary

The 100th Anniversary Scout sports a special “Indian Motorcycle Red” color with “Anniversary Gold” trim and a desert tan leather solo seat to resemble the styling cues of the original 1920 Scout. Besides the paint, the anniversary model comes with black wire wheels, beach bars, a luggage rack and chrome finishes. Indian will only produce 750 units worldwide, with a US price of $15,999 (a $4,500 premium over the regular Scout).

2020 Indian Scout Bobber Twenty

The Indian Scout Bobber Twenty (as in nineteen twenty) comes with wire wheels and a floating saddle in a nod to the original Scout. The Bobber Twenty also comes with 10-inch ape hanger handlebars and a mix of chrome and blacked-out finishes.

The Twenty will not be a limited edition model like the Scout 100th Anniversary, and it’s priced at a smaller premium over the regular Scout Bobber. The non-ABS model will only be offered in Thunder Black with a price of $11,999. ABS-equipped models are priced at $12,899 and will be available in three color options: Thunder Black, Sagebrush Smoke and Burnished Metallic.

2020 Indian Scout

Pricing for the 2020 Indian Scout starts at $11,499 for the non-ABS model in Thunder Black. ABS models start at $12,299 with a choice of Thunder Black, White Smoke, Deepwater Metallic, Metallic Jade over Thunder Black, and Indian Motorcycle Red over Ivory Cream with Gold pinstriping.

2020 Indian Scout Bobber

The 2020 Indian Scout Bobber starts at $10,999 for the non-ABS model in Thunder Black. ABS-equipped models start at $11,799 with a choice of Thunder Black, Thunder Black Smoke, Deepwater Metallic, Bronze Smoke and White Smoke.

2020 Indian Scout Sixty

The 2020 Indian Scout Sixty starts at $8,999 for the non-ABS model in Thunder Black. Starting at $9,799, you get ABS in Thunder Black, or the more premium Burgundy Metallic or Pearl White over Titanium Metallic options.

New Indian Scout Accessories

For 2020, Indian is introducing new accessories to turn a Scout into a tourer. The Scout and Scout Sixty can be outfitted with color-matched quick-release fairings with a two-inch windshield or optional five- or seven-inch shields. Also available are a solo luggage rack and solo rack bag. Indian will also offer new semi-rigid quick-release saddlebags starting over the winter.

Other new accessories include a new seat for the Bobber and bar end mirrors, smoked turn signal lenses, tinted windshields and various handlebar and foot control options for the Scout and Scout Sixty.
