2020 Ducati Model Variants Revealed
New versions announced of existing Ducati models
The Ducati World Premiere held in Italy’s motor valley brought with it the unveiling of a couple of new e-bikes, a new Panigale V2, slightly tweaked Panigale V4s, and the highly anticipated Ducati Streetfighter V4/S. Other models such as the Diavel and Scrambler received additional color options while the Multistrada 1260 family received a new lux trim package aptly named the Grand Tour. Let’s take a closer look at what Ducati calls “new versions” of these existing models.
Multistrada 1260 S Grand Tour
The new Multistrada 1260 S Grand Tour is a special version of the 1260 S designed to tour in even more comfort than before. The Grand Tour is immediately differentiated by a dedicated color scheme. The new Multi features a center stand, panniers and a dedicated seat with Grand Tour logo. Creature comforts such as heated grips, additional LED lights, a hands-free gas cap, and tire pressure monitoring sensors are also standard on the Grand Tour.
As with the standard S model, the Grand Tour utilizes the 1262cc Testastretta DVT engine, features semi-active electronic suspension, and is packed with ride enhancing technology such as IMU-based traction control and ABS, ride modes, a quickshifter, cruise control, wheelie control, vehicle hold control, and more.
US pricing for the Grand Tour is set at $23,295, a $2,000 premium over the S model.
Diavel 1260 S “Ducati Red” & Diavel 1260 “Dark Stealth”
Following the Multistrada during the premiere were two Diavel 1260s, sporting new 2020 color schemes, namely Dark Stealth (available for the standard version) and an all-new Ducati Red with white trims (for the S version). The models remain otherwise unchanged.
Scrambler Icon Dark
The new Scrambler Icon Dark was the first motorcycle to take stage at the Ducati World Premiere. The 800cc model from the Ducati Scrambler range has been given the “dark” treatment blacking out finishes and surfaces throughout the bike to bring a dark brooding addition to the otherwise bright and cheerful Land of Joy. Mechanically, the model remains the same for 2020. MSRP is $8,795.
Perhaps more interesting to some were the two concept sketches created by the Centro Stile Ducati for EICMA 2019. With one styled like a supermoto bike and the other like a rally version of the Desert Sled, we hope to see both models come to fruition.

Great "Grand Tour" now all I could hear is the above narrated by Jeremy Clarkson.
When the fob reader goes out you now will be trapped at the end of your tank. At least when the fob reader went out on my '13 I could use a key on the tank and use the pin to get home. Hopefully the pin will work on the tank as well...
A rallied out Desert Sled with a big tank is something that could actually end up in my garage...
