Videos by Evans Brasfield and Brett Colpitts

To no one’s surprise, Triumph has developed a Scrambler version of its enviable Bonneville platform, unveiled today at EICMA in Italy. It uses the 900cc parallel-Twin motor as previously seen in the Street Twin, Street Cup and Bonneville T100, not the 1200cc motor from the Thruxton and T120.

Well, there it is. I was wondering if it would have the new 1200cc engine. The 900cc engine is probably best for this application. It looks good, but I don't see a reason to upgrade from my 2006 air cooled Scrambler.... at least until I ride the wheels off.

Glad to hear it has more suspension travel than the base 900s. My old 2006 Scrambler fit much better than the base Bonnies and I imagine this would be the case with the new Scrambler as the Street Twin feels and looks tiny to me.
