2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000 and GSX-R1000R Previews

Wheelbase is 20mm longer, at 1425mm, and Suzuki says tilting the cylinder head rearward six degrees allowed it to reduce the distance from the front axle to the swingarm pivot by 20mm – a thing it says improves front-end feel. The engine’s also 6.6mm narrower, so lean angle remains 56 degrees on both sides, and aerodynamics are improved (unless the rider is still a fattie).
