Updated May 2020:
Piaggio is based in Pontedera, Italy. The company offers a complete range of original, intelligent and creative solutions for urban mobility, which combine ease of use and functionality with the fascination of Italian design. Piaggio currently offers scooters ranging from 50cc to 350cc as well as e-bikes, and its unique three-wheeled scooter, the 500cc Piaggio MP3 Sport. Since 1884 the Piaggio name has stood for innovation, quality and superior performance. It is now also the parent company for Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa.
Piaggio Liberty 50
Since its inception in 1997, the Piaggio Liberty has been a milestone of mobility for the company. It’s blend of lightness, style, and ease of use has made the Liberty a popular choice for riders around the world. The Liberty 50 is powered by Piaggio’s 49.9cc i-get (Italian Green Experience Technology) Single-cylinder four-stroke engine and carries 1.58 gallons of fuel giving riders substantial range between fill-ups. Under seat storage, large wheels, and a smooth CVT transmission add to the ease and convenience of daily use with the Liberty 50. The Liberty is also available in 150 and 150 Sport variants.
Piaggio MP3 Sport 500
The two front wheels – and patented suspension system that connects them – combine safety, simplicity, and practicality, while still managing to deliver the fun of a motorcycle on twisty roads. From drivers looking for a more practical safe alternative to four wheels, to the experienced motorcyclist, all are able to appreciate the advantages and technical features of the Piaggio MP3. The MP3 also boasts the latest in Piaggio technology from three-channel ABS, to traction control and ride modes, as well as a lock out for the front suspension to balance the machine at standstill and the inclusion of a reverse gear.
Piaggio Wi-Bike Active
Piaggio Wi-bike goes beyond the concept of an assisted-pedal bicycle and approaches the market as a vehicle that interprets the most progressive mobility needs at 360 degrees, no longer intended simply as the ability to move about, but also as the presence and sharing of information over the most modern network and interaction forms thanks to PMP (Piaggio Multimedia Platform) technology. The Wi-Bike Active has three power modes, a 75-mile (120 km) range, satellite tracking with anti-theft technology, and a top speed of 28 mph.
