Default Re: 2002 Triumph Speed Four Feedback

The likelyhood is that the "retuning" of the engine will not result in ONE extra ft-lb. of torque - it'll just result in the torque peak being moved 500 rpm lower. What it really means is that there will be less hp hit high in the rev range, and the torque hit will be the same but will occurr at a lower rpm. This is only speculation, but that's what apparently ALWAYS happens when they "retune" a sport-model for "standard" duty, and it pisses me off.
People are more violently opposed to fur than leather, because it\'s safer to harass rich women than bikers.

Default "naked friendly"

"naked friendly" motors don't belong in streetfighters. Not that this is a streetfighter, it's a stock factory bike. But if it's supposed to appeal to streetfighter fans and wannabes, why not have it look as streetfighter as possible? Streetfighters need purposeful looking motors, that's all. Pretty can even be bad in a streetfighter. Save the pretty motors for old people.

Default Yup!

That's exactly what we need. And throw in the KTM Duke. That way we cover I-4s, V-twins and Thumpers.

Blip, Minime, how 'bout it?
