I'm interested in this lid; in Florida, helmet ventilation is a primary concern. I'd like to hear how well those giant vents really work. As cool (no pun intended) as that flat black color looks, it would be a brain oven in the summer. Any other colors available? Did they mention the price?

Um, I'm certainly not a 'professional writer,' but that review was WAY below acceptable. In fact, I hesitate to call it a review.

I could have written that without having the helmet. Get the catalog, pick out a picture and the feature description, and you'd have 95% of the 'review.'

Try again. Describe the fit (round, oval, long oval), whether the vents work, as Ken said, and how noisy it is. What is the MSRP? Is it built like an Arai, or one of those Dollar General buckets? Is the chin strap the same as most other makes? Is the liner washable?

Jeez.

And what/who the h-e-double hockey sticks is an 'iTrader?'

Simple, really. I mean, one with your capabilities should have been able to figure it out a LONG time ago, I would think.

That was an excellent start. Now tell us the rest. What head shape fits this helmet? How well do the vents work in warm weather? How warm does it keep your head in the cold? (you should be able to tell us at least one of those two) How loud is the wind noise at speed compared to other helmets you have used? How much does it cost? Thanks.

No idea. I am pretty sure this is an "off the shelf" forum software (I'm almost positive it is a form of vBulletin). So, most likely, when they updated the setup they didn't "uncheck" some features that aren't applicable to our little world.

Here is some info on the iTrader option from vBulletin:

Description:
iTrader for vB 3.5.x & 3.6.x has evolved from Trader Ratings for vB 3.0.x which evolved from Buy/Sell/Trade User Rating System for vB 2.x. This is a rating system for when members buy / sell / trade items from each other (presumably on a FS section of your forum). It is somewhat based on the honor system since there is no automatic way to truly tell if they did engage in a transaction. iTrader came about because it was a pain to try and maintain a single thread listing good / bad traders and so far has worked out quite well.

Features:
Rate another member: Positive / Negative / Neutral
Specify in each transaction: Buyer, Seller, or Trade
Leave multiple comments about the deal
Dates & IPs are all recorded to prevent abuse
Specify a thread URL to the deal
Advanced URL checking
Display ratings over time
Filter based on Buyer/Seller/Trade/or feedback they left for others
Users can edit/delete ratings left for others (time based limitation)
iTrader Admins can edit/delete anyone's ratings (just incase)
PM notification when new rating or comment is left
Per-usergroup permissions
Lots of admin controllable options

OK, I admit - I didn't know what an "iTrader" was either.

This begs the REAL question though: What Would John Thain Do?

Yeah, kinda got the feeling that a page or two was left off.

Dustin, I Trader you a nice VStrom Trooper sticker for some comments on how well this helmet's ventilation system works. I really do want to know; Spring is coming and the Nolan N104's vents are useless, as are most; the best I've ever gotten was a tiny bit of air at very high speed. And, I can't go lidless anymore.
