Default Hopetown days in Simi Valley on the 18th.

There will be a giant vintage dirt bike extravaganza on August 18th, in Simi Valley, CA. All the gret riders from the 70's will be there, John De Soto, Joel Roberts, DeCoster, the Jones Brothers, Super Hunky, and me on my Honda powered wheelchair. The organizer of the event has over 100 fully restored dirt bikes from the sixties and seventies, and along with the celebrities, it should be a real hoot. Here's the address in Simi:
Meet the legends of this iconic grand prix event that ushered in the existence of motocross to the USA....
Awards, BBQ, T-Shirts, Posters and Exhibitors.
Honoring legends (in alphabetical order) are:
Bruce Brown
John DeSoto
Dave Ekins
John Hateley
Brad Lackey
Keith Mashburn
Eddie Mulder
Preston Petty
John Rice
Mike Runyard
Marty Tripes
Jim Wilson
Special Presentations
Legends Interview and awards
Special recognition to early pioneers of the sport
Private vintage British and European motorcycle collection
Over 100 pristine and vintage motocross and desert racing motorcycles

Join us for an afternoon of fun and friends.
Meet some of the great legends of the sport.
Register to bring a Motorcycle to the event

The event will be held at
2674 Westhills Court, Simi Valley, CA 93065

Looking forward to seeing some MOFO's there. I'll be the guy with the beer (urp)....

A gun is a tool, Marian; no better or no worse than any other tool: an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that.
