![]() Brazil is also an interesting place, why don't you come here this year?
Alaska vs. Brazil, in short: --------------------------------- polar bears - hot chicks in bikinis accordian music - samba & hot chicks in bikinis Here you can have an eye popping caipirinha for 60c on the beach. Did I mention the hot chicks? - cruiz-euro |

![]() Three of us just went last summer. Trip report and lots of pictures here: http://tad.gralewski.com/
Highlights: Icefields Parkway, Dalton Hwy and the Brooks range, Chicken Alaska, Dempster Hwy, Manley Roadhouse, Denali Hwy, Cassair Hwy.... yeesh, just too much to list. It's truely is the trip of a lifetime. Don't try to do it without taking a month, otherwise you're just blowing through. Even at a month we ended up doing a lot of 500+ mi days. If I wasn't married I would still be up there. |

![]() God I hate you guys. The big trips are out for me for the foreseeable future. A year ago I would have been all over this trip. Been wanting to do it but my wife says no way and the thought of taking on Alaska solo doesn't really have much appeal.
So the only thing left to say is... Screw you guys... I'm goin' home. ![]() |

![]() I'm taking my old GSX1100 shaftie. The road is supposed to be okay all the way so any decent road bike should do.
Bring something that can help carry the parts that fall off of longride's GeezerGlide.

Motorcycling has changed my life for the better, and I use these pages as a means of sharing my experiences with others in the hope that my thoughts and pictures may encourage you to try something that you would normally dismiss.

Thanks for sharing, Tad. I've done a couple of 1000 mile weekends and thoroughly enjoyed the travel... Your website is inspiring. Time to start thinking about longer journeys.
PS: great pictures!
