What do you mean, Fast and Furious is a poingent tale of the angst ridden juxtposition of the modern day under-cover policeman trying to reconcile his duty to apprehend a hardened criminal and get into his sisters pants at the same time without getting shot by the jealous criminal with the chainmail T-shirt All set against a thrilling backdrop of the L.A. rice rocket street racer world

Fast cars, pounding rythoms Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez,

A modern Classic, whats not to like.

Just remake Ronin, but with bikes in the chase scenes.

The shot of the Aprilia landing on the train was quite cool. Though the sportbikes in the "jungle" tops the silliness of dirt road race in Boyz. I wager that Torque looks like better popcorn fare than Biker Boyz (incidentally great fun when you make up your own dialogue ala MST3K).

Plus, "Burn Rubber not Your Soul" has become our motto whenever one of us intends to do something really stupid. "We do wheelies, they can't even name them" -- classic words for a whole new generation of squids.

Of course, there's always this one...

With the "Bronson rock", some duct tape and some baling wire you could keep a Sportster running forever.

And new motorcycles aren't shipped in crates; they're fully gassed and have their battery and oil installed...

Don't forget the can of 60 weight. And a spare ignition key, for when the stocker falls out somewhere.

The problem with biker movies is that they try and draw in a larger audience by using heavy action but little character developement. They need to make the audience emotionally attached to the characters. It should be like any good movie just with a back drop of beautiful bikes, roads and scenery. Wouldn't that be nice? Any cinemaphotographer who can capture the joy of motion and the beauty of an experienced rider riding coupled with good emotionally attached characterization will have a hit . No doubt about it. Plus they would need a really good helicopter pilot.
