Re: BURNS ON BRINK OF MENTAL COLLAPSE
Have you tried peeing on it, yet? I suggest you drink the coors, and dampen the bolt thusly.
Be sure to get it on video for the MO library, too. Here's another thought. How hard is to loosen the engine mount bolts? Hello, German Engine Exchange! |
Re: BURNS ON BRINK OF MENTAL COLLAPSE
I've been following this for a while, and since it seems you've exhausted all your resources...
Hello?? Mr. Allstate man... The damndest thing happened last night. I thought I locked the garage door, but somehow..... |
Re: BURNS ON BRINK OF MENTAL COLLAPSE
My most vivid memory of Arkansas was looking at a restaurant menu and seeing the following list of gourmet entrees (I'm not kidding on this):
Filet Mignon Lobster New York Strip steak Corn Dog Crab Cakes Shrimp Scampi |
Re: BURNS ON BRINK OF MENTAL COLLAPSE
Or you could just pretend that the problem doesn't exist and that it will take care of itself...

Re: BURNS ON BRINK OF MENTAL COLLAPSE
Somehow we all managed to overlook the most obvious solution of all!
Thanks. |
Re: BURNS ON BRINK OF MENTAL COLLAPSE
Nice touch, blessing the new bike that way. Maybe I'll have to start that tradition as well.
Not sure that I ever tasted Italian beer -- as I recall, I mostly drank wine when I was in Italy. How soon are you thinking of getting the Speed Triple, and is this an addition to your stable, or a replacement for the Bandit? I'm kinda looking at one myself (the list of bikes I am considering keeps getting longer instead of getting narrowed down). Cheers Bob |
Re: BURNS ON BRINK OF MENTAL COLLAPSE
I don't just live in Arkansas...I happen to live in Northeast Arkansas which is looked down upon by the rest of the state! But I love the Delta and it will always be home.
Yeah, your observation is accurate. All the Chinese buffet resturants-(buffet resturants are real popular here!)-serve such traditional Chinese items like corn dogs and fried chicken. My first motorcyle that I ever bought was a Ducati 900SS CR in spring of '95. Man, I felt like a freak! No one around here knew what it was. Some people thought it was a Harley because it had a v-twin engine!!!!!!!! But the girls liked it...and Southern girls do appreciate Italian quality! I did not even know John Burns was married. Wonder if she is an 'angry little woman'. |
Re: BURNS ON BRINK OF MENTAL COLLAPSE
It ain't so bad Agent0090. The fact that half the population lives off of fried twinkies and crank does bother me though.

Re: 12 Point Bolts....
The 12-point bolt is the "triple-square, cheesehead" type that VW/Porsche/Audi use in the CV joints.
