Judging by the success of the SV650 in the American markets in comparison to the sales failure of the NT650/GT647 Hawk, maybe so. Butt, selling small bikes to "bigger is better" `muricans at prices that are NOT proportinately lower is gonna be tough.

Erm... possibly, but the ZRX1200 engine would be a better bet...

???? Doesn't Connie already have a shaft? Or are you referring to the ZX-12 engine/transmission?

That's what I don't understand. How hard is it for Kawasaki to change the brakes on bike models? Yes, newer and better components may cost more (or they may not...), but the MSRP of these things go up anyway and people will understand if they go up a little (note: LITTLE) more if the bike is updated a bit... As for front suspension, unless the fork diameter is changed (new triple clamps to be designed/fabricated) or a radical new suspension is put forward, updating them should be relatively simple and therefore relatively inexpensive...

Anyone have any detailed info on the FJR1300? I would probably buy that bike in 2002 if they brought it here. I love my buddy's FJ1100... anyone know anything more?
