All things come to those who wait..and save!
Thought I'd share this, after 3 years saving..and another 2 years finance to come, I'm up to Wigan, (Lancashire, UK) next week to collect a '94 FXR Low Rider, 1 owner, FSH, 18K miles, absolutely mint..my first big twin.. broad smiles imminent...

What is this "saving " of which you speak???? you're supposed to spend money like a drunken sailor and keep yourself so far in debt that employment becomes indentured servitude to the financial institution of your choice, what are you, some kind of communist tightwad who hates England and supports terrorism?????????????

Congratulations!
Make sure the thing is aligned! Rear wheel to swingarm, swingarm to frame. Them check the vertical alignment of the rear wheel to make sure it is perpendicular the the lower frame rails. I highly recommend an aftermarket seat. I loved my '88.

A 1982 FXR was my first Harley and to be honest I wish I still had it. It was a great bike. You'll enjoy the bike. Congrats!
