"The V-Rod motor was designed by Porshe, right?"

Er, no numb-nuts it wasn't. Please try again.

Whether this particular doc is fake or not is besides the point. H-D will come up with a bigger engine. Why? Because 1450cc is not cutting it any more. You have to be pretty ignorant of today´s cruiser market to regard it anything but a middle weighter.

Strange that a hoax would find its way to the EPA server. Other "hoax" brands are there as well: http://www.epa.gov/otaq/regs/roadbike/

Also found:

2005 road test results. Here's a load of info on all makes and models:

2,450cc! Thats stupid. So is the 2000cc V twin, (Suzuki?) or the 2300cc Triumph. I just do not see any reason for a motorcycle engine to be that large. If people want then, fine but I don't see the point. You can go 190 with 1300cc!
