Read the comments section of any electric motorcycle we test and you’re bound to hear the haters. You know, the ones who say, “I hate electric bikes because they don’t make any noise.”
Clearly, those are the riders without an imagination. On the opposite end of the spectrum, you have guys like the one in this video. Instead of letting the lack of engine noise on his electric dirtbike (it looks like the KTM Freeride-E) get him down, he decided to make lemonade out of lemons. The result is downright hilarious. I'll never understand how anyone can toss away all the thrills of riding a motorcycle simply because of a difference in the sound one makes (or doesn't make).
If you are having so much fun on your motorcycle that you shout and whoop and make motorcycle noises in your helmet, it doesn't matter what bike you are on. You are doing things exactly the way they should be done.
