Weekend Awesome - Cops Chase Motorcycle Through Mall
Shoppers were surprised by a police chase through a Walmart in Surrey, Canada. Police were tracking a motorcyclist that was reportedly riding erratically. The suspect led the pursuit into a mall, descending an escalator and out a door, narrowly missing innocent bystanders.
The episode occurred on Feb. 20 and as of this writing, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police are still looking for the suspect, described as a white male in his 40s. They did manage to find the bike, a blue Harley-Davidson that was believed to have been stolen.
This clip is part of a longer video of both mall security and police camera footage. According to a report by the CBC, the video was assembled by an investigator and mistakenly leaked onto YouTube. Click here for the full video.
