With Fastrack Riders Academy entering its third year, Fastrack has again decided to enlarge its offerings beyond those of an organization that merely does track days. Since many riders don’t have the months required to participate in the Academy, Fastrack Riders University (FRU) offers many of the same lessons and teaching techniques in an à la carte format that is led by former racer Eric Bostrom.

Fastrack Riders University – For Fast Riders Who Want To Be Really Fast

Riders can choose to take part in the program when they are available. On June 23, Fastrack will be hosting a full day of FRU sessions only, making it an ideal time to try out the program. By alternating classroom sessions with track practice – with a limited number of riders for maximum clear track – students will have a rare opportunity to dramatically improve their riding skills.

Watch the video below to learn more about the benefits of FRU.

Like most of the best happenings in his life, Evans stumbled into his motojournalism career. While on his way to a planned life in academia, he applied for a job at a motorcycle magazine, thinking he’d get the opportunity to write some freelance articles. Instead, he was offered a full-time job in which he discovered he could actually get paid to ride other people’s motorcycles – and he’s never looked back. Over the 25 years he’s been in the motorcycle industry, Evans has written two books, 101 Sportbike Performance Projects and How to Modify Your Metric Cruiser, and has ridden just about every production motorcycle manufactured. Evans has a deep love of motorcycles and believes they are a force for good in the world.
