Another show season, and another year for that matter, is screeching to an end after exciting announcements from plenty of manufacturers. Intermot delivered the unveiling of notable models such as the 2019 Indian FTR1200 and the 2020 Suzuki Katana, while EICMA, as is usual, showcased new models from 15 major OEMs, making it the show to watch for new models releases. Between the two European shows, the US’s own AIMExpo was used to release new iterations of Kawasaki’s ZX-6R and ZX-10R as well as Yamaha’s revamped R3.

Perhaps the most exciting bit about the model announcements for the upcoming years was the fact that there was everything from small displacement nakeds, to fire-breathing V4s, and trail-ready adventure bikes. There really was something for everyone to be excited about in the next few years. Italian, Japanese, German, Austrian, British, and American manufacturers all had something to show and we’re happy to have been able to report on so many new models.

To wrap up the show season, our staff once again converged at the Long Beach International Motorcycle Show to see these new models in person. Come along with us as we walk the show floor, discuss new models, and generally geek out over what’s to come in 2019 and beyond.

NYC show was disappointing. No KTM presence. The Guzzi didn't make it to NYC either. It keeps getting smaller and smaller. Might as well just wait and go to a dealers show room when the bikes show up.
