EXCELLENT DEALER TO WORK WITH!!!!
I recently had warranty work performed on my Yamaha Viper. The Service manager was very helpful and notified me as soon as Yamaha released the service bulletin and said he would notify me when the parts came in to complete the work. I was notified ... by email and phone call that the parts were there and he had made me an appointment for the next day to bring my sled in so I would have it in a timely manner. The machine was repaired the day I dropped it off so I was able to get it and have it ready to go on my trip as I had them service the sled for the winter on short notice. The service manager said that it would not be a problem and they would have it ready to go for me. While I was getting my machine i picked up some new gear and let me tell you the parts people knew there stuff and had an excellent variety for me to choose from. I could tell they were not just there to sell me new gear and get me on my way. They took the time to make sure that everything fit properly and I was happy with it. They also informed me on how to care for my gear and that it did have a warranty for any future issues that may arise. The sales people really knew their stuff when it came to any questions that I had about the new models and they also informed me that snow checking a new sled would be my best option to get everything I would like to have.

I am very pleased with Mason City Powersports. I bought a new snowmobile from them this year and had a small accident with it right before I was to leave on a trip with some friends and family. I called them to see if they could get me fixed up and they said they would do the best they can. I brought ... my sled down and dropped it off and left with my fingers crossed. The next day I got a call from them telling me that the part that I needed was back ordered and not expected for several weeks. I was devastated that I would have to be left behind on the first trip of the year. Knowing my situation the parts manager Cory went above and beyond and started calling other dealerships in the mid west looking for someone with the part on their shelf. Once he found one he called me and explained to me what he had done and that if I wanted to have it shipped next day to have it installed before my trip the shipping would be about $70 for next day air. I was so excited when he found the part! An extra $70 for me to still be able to make a trip that was planned for months was more than worth it!! They got the part in, fixed my sled, and I had a great trip all thanks to Mason City Powersports!

This dealer is a joke. I called to talk to the parts dept. I need two fuel tank for m-8 snowmobiles. I explained the issue and the parts guy said AC may warranty them and sent me to service. the service manager took the vins and called back a day later saying that AC would warranty them. He wanted ... to order the parts I told him not to. I explained that he was the closest dealer to my home town and that he is 4 hrs away. I did not even set up an appointment. he said I would to leave them for a week if service was going to be done. I told him again not to do anything. don't order parts and I did not set up an appointment.
I am getting ready to go on a trip to the snowy moutnains and there is a dealer right there. I called that dealer and told them AC would warranty the tanks. They took the VINs and informed me that Mason City Powersports had already opened a claim and they could do nothing with that claim open.
I called back up to Mason City Powersports and asked them to close the claim that they opened on my machines without my consent. and explained that 16 hours worth of driving was to much. They said they would call AC and see what they could do. They called back and told me that AC wouldn't let them close the claim. Government issues with emmissions and they did the leg work Blah, Blah, Blah. I informed them that I would NOT be taking the sleds up for this service. I reinforced that i specifically asked for them to not order parts. I didn't even know it was going to be waranteed when i first called. the service rep hung up the phone on me. ( yah we are teenagers again) he will have to close the claim. And i called and sent emails to AC corporate to let them know that this service has not been completed and will not be completed by this dealer. I will not let this crooked dealership touch my sleds.
I can buy aftermarket tanks to repalce them with the money it would take in fuel to drive these sleds 16 hours.
Buyers beware of this shady dealer and there crooked ways to get business
