In 2003, I purchased a new 2003 230 Kaw. Bayou for my son. I was completely satisfied with purchase and so I later bought a new 2003 650 Praire. Everything went fine until I took the 650 in for its 100 hour tune-up, and that is when I got screwed by Mac's for $1000. The owner told me by phone that ... it would cost $1000 to rebuild my motor that had over heated due to mud blocking the radiator. BULLCRAP!!!! I cleaned my four wheeler after each ride and had NEVER ridden it in mud any deeper than boot top high!!! And the sad part is that after I did pay (could not get it back until I did), I called the Kawasaki corporation and the guy there said that the dealership was in the right without even botherin to inspect my four wheeler. I was NOT in the wrong. After getting my "freshly re-built" four wheeler back, I started having problems with it. Electronically, and it started leakin g oil. My son did not realize that the oil had to checked EACH and EVERY time it was ridden, and on a short ride up the hill, he managed to blow the motor. This wasnt my son's fault. He was not riding it fast. In short, Mac's screwed me out my four wheeler that I paid cash for, cash that I received from selling timber, and cash that I no longer have. Thank you Mac's for leaving me without a four wheeler, and thank you kawasaki for not standing behind your products. If I can sell some more timber, I will DEFINATELY NOT EVER AGAIN OWN ANOTHER KAWASKI!!!!! Shame too since I used to really Kaws.
