In a previous era, the extent of social media was writing a letter to the editor or passing a magazine on to your buddy. Today there are numerous ways in which we can share our thoughts and experiences in real time over the internet. You’ve probably noticed near the top of each MO page are buttons to share the article on Facebook, Google+, and Twitter.
Today we are adding Instagram to the social media channels in which you can keep abreast of pretty much everything that’s going on at MO. To encourage you to follow us on Instagram, we’re going to give one lucky reader a $250 Amazon Gift Card!
All you have to do is post a picture of your motorcycle with the hashtag #MOMyRide (comment the make and model of your bike while you’re at it) and tag @motorcycle_com. Oh, and you’ll need to follow @motorcycle_com and “like” this picture.
The contest starts today, May 1 and ends May 15 at 5 p.m. EST. You must have a public Instagram profile to enter, and it’s limited to U.S. and Canadian residents only. The winner will be notified via Direct Message and their motorcycle will be featured on our feed.

SWEEPSTAKES – OFFICIAL RULES, TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Motorcycle.com’s Spring Fling Instagram Giveaway – Entrants are eligible to win one (1) $250 Amazon.com Gift Card (value of $250.00 USD) by following @motorcycle_com on Instagram and “liking” the contest image. Entrants are also required to post a picture of their motorcycle on Instagram using the hashtag #MOMyRide and tagging @motorcycle_com in the picture, commenting the make and model of their motorcycle on the contest image. One (1) winner will be chosen at random and contacted by VerticalScope Inc.’s staff.
- NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. AGE/RESIDENCY RESTRICTIONS, VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
- PRIZE: One (1) Winner will be randomly selected to each receive: one (1) $250 Amazon Gift Card from VerticalScope Inc. (the “Prize Supplier”). Total approximate retail value of all prizes is approximately $250.00 USD. Prizes are not transferable and no cash or prize substitution is allowed. Prize package is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied.
- ELIGIBILITY: From the time of entry through the final date of prize fulfillment, each contest entrant and selected entrant must be a permanent lawful citizen and resident residing in the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, and be twenty one (21) years of age or older. - ENTER BY INTERNET: Beginning at 10:00 a.m. (EST) on Monday, May 1st, 2017, you may enter this sweepstakes via Instagram by following @motorcycle_com on Instagram and “liking” the contest image. Entrants are also required to post a picture of their motorcycle on Instagram using the hashtag #MOMyRide and tagging @motorcycle_com in the picture, commenting the make and model of their motorcycle on the contest image. Entrant’s Instagram account must be public for the entry to be valid.
- SELECTION OF WINNER: One (1) entrant will be selected on or about May 15th, 2017 by random selection of eligible Entrants. The winner will be announced publicly on Motorcycle.com and will be contacted directly by a representative of Sponsor via direct message on Instagram. The winning image will be featured on @motorcycle_com Instagram account. The winner will be required to provide an email address to receive the prize.
- ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning a prize are determined by the total number of eligible entries received.
- RESTRICTIONS: The prize consists of an Amazon.com Gift Card from the Prize Supplier approximately valued at $250.00 USD. If prize cannot be awarded due to circumstances beyond the control of the Sponsor or Prize Supplier, no substitute prize will be awarded due to the unique nature of the prize. Sponsor and Prize Supplier shall not be liable to the winner or any person claiming through winner for failure to supply the prize or any part thereof, by reason of any acts of God, any action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action(s), regulations(s), order(s) or request(s) prove(s) to be invalid), equipment failure, utility failure, internet failure, terrorist acts, threatened terrorist acts, air raid, blackout, act of public enemy, earthquake, war (declared or undeclared), fire, flood, epidemic, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal) labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, or any other cause beyond Sponsor’s or Prize Supplier’s control (collectively, “Force Majeure Event”). Sponsor shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitutions or any act or omissions whatsoever by the performers/events, other transportation companies or any other persons providing any of these services and accommodations to passengers including any results thereof such as changes in services or accommodations necessitated by same.
- CONDITIONS: By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules, Terms and Conditions and that Sponsor has the irrevocable right to use in perpetuity entrants’ names, user names, likenesses, photographs, voices, home mailing address, biographical and prize information, and entry materials, without notice to entrants and without compensation or obligation, in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world, in any manner whatsoever, to advertise and promote Sponsor, its products and services, the Sweepstakes, and for any other purpose except where prohibited by law. Entrant waives the right to assert as a cost of winning a prize any and all costs of verification and redemption or travel to redeem said prize and any liability which might arise from redeeming or seeking to redeem said prize. Make sure you erase any location info embedded in the photos. I've heard horror stories along those lines. Also, are you going to have everyone put their riding boot in front of the tire to authentic it is their bike. I remember someone had to do that here to prove they owned a Buell. Lol
