I have a 1994 BWM R1100RS that Ive brought back to life after sitting in a garage for no less than 8 years.
Upgrades in the last 15 months include:
Battery, HES (alternator belt was replaced as well), Brake lines (ABS by-passed but complete), Left cylinder timing chain tensioner upgrade, valves adjusted, intake o-rings and I am sure to forget something.
All fluids flushed, fuel pump (after market) and filter (Mahle) and fuel lines replaced (OE and aftermarket)
All tune-up items replace with 1000 miles run time.
The new front wheel bearings and tires only have 120 miles on them.
New speedo cable that is the longer version.
Has Hagon shocks f+r; front has had the bushings replaced.

Taller, tined windshield.
Has factory side bags and all keys match/work.
Givi top bag with new lock/keys. Also has new rubber absorbers installed on the moouting plate
Front fender I believe is from an RT model.
Installed a different on-board charging port for a standard cigerette lighter adapter. Comes with the charger built for this.
I have brakes pads, copper crush washers and multiple manuals and service history.
Im 3rd owner and the first two were pilots. Ive gone on multiple 100+ mile rides since my repairs.
Did 36 miles Sunday 09.20.20.
Clear and free Florida title in my name.
Cons:
As mentioned the ABS is by-passed. It is plugged and wont pass fluid to the rear brakes.
Runs well but the idle needs addressed. This symptom may be normal as this is the first boxer Ive owned.
The shocks need attention. Possibly a refill. Front dives but this could also be my weight and shocks not set-up for me.
I stopped riding this bike because of knee surgerys and not being able to flat foot this all the time. I have 3 others that are shorter :-)
