Sit on the floor with your legs in the widest “V” as possible without causing pain. Keep your head, neck, and back straight with your hands on the floor in front of you, slowly slide your hands as far forward as possible while keeping your back straight and without causing pain. Hold for 30 seconds repeat two or three times.

Good info and a big flashback to my old “Stretch Monster,” Mr. Armstrong’s green buddy.

Yoga in full leathers. It’s the next big trend.

Yep. The race suit makes it like Bikram Yoga with added resistance. And if your suit is new, you get to break it in at the same time. Now that’s what I call a win, win!

I do all those on bike when riding.Optimization baby.Never understood limbering up when doing stuff casual.I follow Tallahassees school of thought on this one.

Ok…somebody’s girlfriend has been in somebody’s ear and she happens to be a Yoga instructor. I get it.

As I have gotten older, I started getting numbness in my fingertips while riding. One pre-ride stretch that has helped has been leaning into an open doorway with both arms at a 90 degree angle with hands and forearms pointing upward and against the door frame. I hold the lean for about a minute(repeat as many times as preferred) and this helps open up the chest and stretch the pectoralis minor muscle which I have read can cause this numbness. Another, while riding, is stretching one arm out straight ahead or to the side, parallel to the ground, and rolling the arm and hand forward and then backward, keeping the arm pointed in the same direction. I also do this similar movement with both hands on the handlebars. Looking forward to trying some of the stretches above, but without the leathers 🙂 Thanks for showing these stretches.
