2007 Yamaha Royal Star Venture

A great bike for two to take off if it's only a two day or 10 day trip

Before I puchase this wonderfull machine, I had tried many models.

I prviously ownwd Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki, and decided to rent a Harley Softail for a week end before buying the RSV,. Harle was nice but would not beat the comfy RSV, therefore it was ahead of all the others. One thing before ... anyone critisize the jap bike's , let's all rememeber what kind of bike we first owned, and i would say 95% all started on Honda's and other Jap.

I looked at the Goldwing and the Harley Ultra. The Venture fit me best of all. I'm a tall guy and the other bikes seemed cramped to me. I'm very happy with this bike and have put many happy hours and miles on it. Can't beat that!

I've owned my 2007 Venture for 2yrs now and have had no problems at all. I've added satelite radio and that's it. Rode from Maryland to Texas and back avergaing 70mph, very smooth and got 45 mpg. I have been riding for 20yrs and have owned every jap bike, bmw, and 2 harleys including my last which ... was a 98 Electra glide, this bike has them all beat.
