2010 Yamaha FZ 6 R

I bought my FZ6 R and I love every second I'm riding it. I'm 6'0" 220 lbs and I can ride my bike all day long no problem. Beautiful looking, easy on my back and wrists, very docile handling, plenty of useable street power, good fuel economy. The saddle is well padded and also height adjustable as ... well as the handle bar. I bought my bike to enjoy the ride, not to win any races and so far I am very pleased with it.

If you're looking to move from the 250cc set into something with a bit more snap, but don't want to crack the $10k barrier - this bike is perfect. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's like an R6 or anything like that, but it's a great stepping stone to that strata.

The 600cc motor ... will snap you along the straights just fine and there is enough a power in the rear tire to get the front one aloft (if you're into that sort of thing). It also has that solid Yamaha dependability and a few aftermarket parts available for you to tinker with it, should you feel so inclined.

For the price, it can't be beat.
