WOW
By (I am an Owner) on Nov 18, 2009I traded in a F4 for a R6 and all i can say is WOW!!!!!!! for everyone saying the bike is not confertable thats Bull. I road the bike from CO to VA and it was fine a also got the bike up to 145Mph with a bag on each side of the bike. The bike still had so much more power at that speed.

Very pleasing!
By (I am an Owner) on Aug 20, 2009I bought my bike in July last year. My first bike to top it off!
I'm amazed at how powerful and smooth the bike is and at 5ft 7 it's difficult to keep the bike up at standstill and my arms are a bit short for steering.
But I don't have any complaints... My R6 is a dream come true and ... I would definitely tell anyone to buy one!

Best 600 supersport!
By (I am an Owner) on Jul 31, 2009All I can say is this is probably the best 600 supersport available. I have ridden them all my fav is by far the R6 hands down.YeS there are other 600s with more power and better looks in others opinions- not mine, but if you want a close to track ready 600cc race bike from the factory the closest ... thing to that in my opinion is the R6. I would not reccomend this or any other 600 supersport for that matter as a first bike. I will reccomend a great 1st bike and that would be the yamaha FZ6 or fazer.

No complaints
By (I am an Owner) on May 23, 2009Excellent all-around sportbike. Yeah, maybe it lacks mid-range compared to the CBR, but who cares about that with top-end like this bike has. It screams. And it's comfortable. And it handles unbelievably. Two thumbs up. Way up.

K8 R6
By (I am an Owner) on Jan 26, 2009I bought this bike with the primary intention of "street riding", but the first time I did a track weekend I knew it had no business to be on the street. It ran perfect on the track, even with the stock Dunlop 208 tires.
This winter, it's been a project and is almost complete for ... this year's track season!!

Great bike
By (I am an Owner) on Nov 25, 2008Great bike has nice handling. And extremely sharp looks. Only problem is the lack of power from the 1,000-10,000 rpm range.

Awesomeness between my legs.
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 27, 2008This bike is pretty amazing.
The performance is top-notch. 16.5k redline wooooooooo!
The only issue with this bike is the comfort. But.... Tough luck. You don't buy a sportsbike for comfort; you buy it for performance.
The rating category combines both ... Ride & Comfort. And since the ride is a 10 out of 5, and comfort a 4 out of 5, its perfect!

Definately Fun
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 23, 2008I bought the 08 R6 on Father's day and this bike is nothing but amazing.
The Overall performance is second to none.
The Handling when going into corners is extremely sharp, find a line and twist the throttle.
Although it may not be as comfortable as other ... bikes, over time you will adapt to it and the little incomforts here and there will go away.
The brakes feel like wood blocks when stopping but if you grab em just right then they will do their job.
I have a lot of friends with brand new bikes and for some odd reason mine gets more attention. Must be the Sharp Cadmium Yellow :)

Absolutely Cutting Edge Performance
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 18, 2008I have had my 08 special edition R6 for 1700 miles now, 400 or so on the track and I must say that this bike is absolutely awesome. It is an racetrack scalpel. Pick your line and it goes there, anywhere on the track. The motor is amazing and a ton of fun. The suspension is also top notch for ... production bikes. My only complaints would be lack of adjustability of the angle of the front brake lever and slightly less than perfect braking feel. Otherwise, the best sportbike I have owned to date. Get one and make everyone at the track wish they had.
