		I have had many bikes in my years, but the R1 is by far the most balanced of all. Some modifications to increase the low end response,and the speed governor has limited its shear power output. It has the perfect power to weight ratio and cornering ability of a midsize bike. These superbikes can over<span class="simple_review_box" >...</span><span class="expand_review_box" style="display:none;">power even the most experienced riders however the R1 does it all well! You can get a Busa but the R1 will eat it up in the corners and having 400 cc's less and its midsize bike size gives it the best overall performance over most in and above its class. The only thing its missing is a set of wings to take off and they put the governors on them to keep them from hitting 200 + MPH. At 166 it already wants to defy gravity and take off. 		 this is my second R1 the only desapointament with this bike is the heat in the summer gets way too hot ,but to be honest this bike worth every cent....a lots of power,very confortable ....the best to ride in the winter you don't even need a jacket..........

I have had many bikes in my years, but the R1 is by far the most balanced of all. Some modifications to increase the low end response,and the speed governor has limited its shear power output.
