		This Bike is an awesome screamer!! granted a lot of people do not like the absence of low end, with a top end like the r1, the problem can be bypassed

		hello, i have bought R1 new in May 07 and did some affter market modifications on it, it is fantastic but there is points made me sold it and went to other bike. <br /><br />
1st the temp is getting very high even after removing the heating valve with controll the water flow, Yama desgniers have increased the <span class="simple_review_box" >...</span><span class="expand_review_box" style="display:none;">radiator by 10% and installed another fan but still going high <br />
<br />
2nd the riding confort i don't know why i fell it is too hard <br />
<br />
3rd for the accessories and spare parts the Yamaha is the most expensive for the Japanees moteros brand <br />
<br />
these three points are the major but there is good points also <br />
<br />
1st acceleration is very good and sensetive <br />
<br />

		From the moment you sit on your new R1 that you just bought you feel chills. Get it out on the street and you better be confident of your manhood because this piece of scientific perfection will make you scream like a little girl when it pops a wheelie just from the sheer power. This definitely tops<span class="simple_review_box" >...</span><span class="expand_review_box" style="display:none;"> the Kawasaki ZX9 that I’ve owed and countless other bikes I’ve ridden. As with any bike there is a chance you may not like a few of the things the R1 offers. To date the only thing I had to get used to was the very big first gear. This can be most amazing and most embarrassing. Try to jump off the line and it really feels pathetic. Yet this 1st gear will leave you hanging on for dear life from 30mph to in excess of 90 mph, yes you better believe it will do it. Get on the throttle at 8k or above and watch out as you may lose site of things in front of you when you pop an involuntary wheelie. This is where people stand by the 0-60 in 2.8. I absolutely love this big first gear now and wouldn’t have it any other way....unless of course I’m giving a chick a ride.</span>
