By  (I am an Enthusiast) on May 13, 2011

I bought my 07 R1 as a demo bike with 600miles on it in march of 08 and I still love it. I have had it at 170mph many times and 180mph once with the bike still having more to give. Its light, powerful, and agile. The only problem, tires last aout 2,000 miles cuz its impossible to be responsible on ...

By  (I am an Owner) on Oct 14, 2008

This Bike is an awesome screamer!! granted a lot of people do not like the absence of low end, with a top end like the r1, the problem can be bypassed

By  (I am an Owner) on Sep 18, 2008

hello, i have bought R1 new in May 07 and did some affter market modifications on it, it is fantastic but there is points made me sold it and went to other bike.

1st the temp is getting very high even after removing the heating valve with controll the water flow, Yama desgniers have increased ...

2nd the riding confort i don't know why i fell it is too hard

3rd for the accessories and spare parts the Yamaha is the most expensive for the Japanees moteros brand

these three points are the major but there is good points also

1st acceleration is very good and sensetive

2nd light is clear i think its four bulbs make you understand

3rd sexy looking bike and sound when changing the OEM muflers
