R6 Rocks.
By (I am an Owner) on Jun 10, 2010This is my second bike,my first was a 02 Ninja 6.
I have a 2004 R6 and i am just stoked about this bike.
The power with this 600 is insane, not to mention the lean and turns are amazing, you can pretty much lean around going 80 and still feel comfortable.
On long runs its not so ... much comfortable.
But then again everytime i get on the innerstate i go 120.
The power is at a mid-level RPM's i like it myself.
I dont pull hard low rpm wheelies, and i dont have to wind to around 10,000 rpm, anywhere 4-13 rpm is basically the max pull for me.
I love my bike.
I doubt ill ever sell it.

Wohoooo!
By (I am an Owner) on Jul 12, 2009Always wanted one....love it!
Quit whining about comfort, it's a sport bike not a rumbling couch. Power in the middle and top, fun, fun, fun. Daddys keeping this one! Yeah!

r6
By (I am an Owner) on Apr 04, 2009bought an r6 6 months ago . i stay in cenral scotland so the twisties are never far away .2004 model is more suited to road riding compared to models of late. stock settings on the suspension are hard on rear so u will find yourself bouncing round corners. not much room for softning. live with that ... though and you have a head banging screamer thats music in your ears everytime the rev counter smashes through 1200 rpm . fit a pc 111 a pipercross airfilter and an aftermarket exaust soma dyno time and you should have 115 bhp at the rear wheel plus it far more responsive of the throtle + more torque

By (I am an Owner) on Nov 10, 2008i own a 2004 r6. i have owned it for bout 4 months and i love it. it handles very well and is impressive with power considering most of the time it is on one wheel i have had no trouble out of it at all even slamed it down a couple times and picked it up and drove away unlike my old ninja. all around ... great bike

By (I am an Owner) on Oct 01, 2008This is my second bike. I have driven an 07CBR and a 04 Honda Shadow. This bike is great all around. Its performance is very good, and it has great quality.
I have never had anything go wrong with it. It is super smooth and I didn't expect it to be this easy to handle
Great ... Bike Overall.

By (I am an Owner) on Sep 30, 2008this was the second bike i have owned after learning on a 2001 kawasaki ninja 250r. i was utterly floored by the power handling and pure comfort of this bike. it was very forgiving and an absolute dream in the twisties. i did feel that it lacked just a smidge of power after i really got used to it ... but it easily made up for it with the amazing suspension.

2004 Yamaha R6 Review
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 26, 2008I have a 2004 Yamaha R6. This is my second street bike. First one was a 2004 Yamaha FZ6. I am 41 years young and was a little concerned about comfort being an issue. While the R6 certainly is not as comfortable as the more upright FZ6 it is not as uncomfortable as I first expected it to be. I love ... the way the bike handles in the twisties and the smoothness of the engine when shifting is nice. The suspension is fully adjustable and feels very solid. Most weekends I ride to the NC mountains and I'm on the bike for approx. 5 hours and afterwards do not feel overly fatigued. I love the looks and design of the bike as well. I think I'll be riding this one for a while.
