Yup, the best Super Sport Touring motorcycle around. Super Sport!

I did all the research about the Yamaha FJR 1300, read all the reviews I could in all the magazines I could find that had such articles and all of them reinforce what I knew already, this is one fantastic motorcycle. I have over 35,000 miles on my FJR. The only major upgrade I invested in was a cust...om saddle for my boney butt so I can ride all day in complete comfort. Even in strong crosswinds she is solid. As a former downhill ski racer, this bike allows me to apply those concepts to the curves of the best roads we have here in the cascades. I am able to apply the concepts put down in a book “Sport Riding Techniques” by Nick Ienatsch, thanks Nick. I continue to read, apply and learn with my FJR. It is such a thrill to be able to satisfy my addiction to the adrenaline rush with the power of deceleration, acceleration and carving smooth clean turns. Hang on the saddlebags and cruise across the country, take them off and head to the track or make a sport day of it no matter where you are. FLR1300: Dynamic, thrilling touring machine

I have 35,000+ miles on her and she has never let me down. whether long distance touring or back road twisties with the guys, she always delivers in fistfulls. Always loads of power mixed with just the right amount of comfort. I did a 10,000 mile trip last summer touring around the US and she never ...once let me down in ALL manner of weather. The 2004 does get a tad hot when the tank gets dry, but it's a small price to pay for that much power between your legs. The newest models seem to have fixed these issues though.

though my only small complaint about this bike is that I could use a tad more growl to go with the power it delivers.
