  • Yamaha YZ 250F
By  (I am an Owner) on Apr 05, 2010

This is the 5th motocross bike and my 9th motorcycle that i have owned in my short lifetime of 22 years. I have owned many of yamaha's products throughout the years and have also had a lot of experience with them because of being a motorcycle technician, most of which has been good.

    The 2007 ...

Ok so i have told u about all the good aspects of this bike and now is time for the bad, dont worry though there is very little that this bike needs to change. From the experience i have with these bikes i can tell u that the one weak spot on yamaha's seem to be the bearings on the chasis. On the yamaha's i have owned i have had to replace the wheel bearings on 2 of 3, and on the 2007 my steering head bearing is gone and needs to be replaced. These problems seem to be minor and my also be due to the fact that i ride almost exclusively in sand pits.

All in all i would recommend this bike to anyone that is considering it. It will have the power that u would expect and the handling to go with it. The 2007 YZ 250F is a great all around bike and is very reliable too.. so if ur in the market and find yourself looking at one i hope this will help you with your decision..

    Thanks for reading, MXRIDER73
