2009 Yamaha V Star 1300

This is my first motorcycle I've put a few add-ons on the bike overall I'm pretty happy with it I have no problem keeping up with Harleys this bike is pretty good bang for your buck

After some comparison and review, I bot my 2009 VStar 1300 November 2010. While my buddies thought I was being cheap for NOT buying a Harley, they NOW tell me how smart I was for buying the the bike. Its been years since I rode much on the street and even back then I used to ride a dual-purpose ... bike. Thus, my VStar was the first real street bike ive owned. I couldn't be any happier, especially considering how little I paid(NOS price!!!). I've put V&H Long Shots for a great tone plus some chrome bits to dress it up. Having always been a yamaha owner, I am pleased in my decision to buy the VStar and hope to put many many miles on her.

This is a dream come true motorcycle, Handles great on turns and has the power for steep hills. Well bounced and wonderful for long trips. I had a few others cycles and this is the best.. My neighbor has a Harly and my 1300cc sounds better then HIS ! LMAO...

I just purchased a 2009 V Star 1300, (left over) (0) miles. With VH pipes and Mustang Seat installed, good to go. Just drove it 50 miles from bike shop home, what a sweet ride! Ton's of power, handles beautifully, the VH pipes growl a very pleasing note.. Fit and finish is outstanding and far ... better than the Honda Shadow 1100 I upgraded from. Took it out on the interstate on way home, 70mph and purred like a kitten.. Am looking forward to a long relationship with this Star.. Glad I went with Yamaha..

This is by far the best cruiser ever.

this is the thinking mans bike. it corners better than any other bike i have ever ridden, the power is scary. By the way i own a harley as well. Time to save money lads, why pay for a harley when you can get a much ... better everythin from the Yamaha xvs 1300 Midnight Star...WOW!

After owning an XV1100, XVS1100 I now have the Vstar1300 and what a fantastic machine.

I have found it to be comfortable on a long ride (longest run to date is 1125miles in 2 days) and has very good economy also.

Plenty of torque through the range means it can take ... on everything the road can throw at you. Here in New Zealand we have a lot of winding roads and the VStar loves it almost as much as I do

The seating position fits perfect and my wife enjoys the large seat provided on the back. The aftermarket floor boards I fitted for her are ideal.

I recommend this to anyone returning to bikes as it is very user friendly or to someone wanting to step up to a big cruiser
